Customer Responsibilities The customer agrees to: * Return all rental equipment empty, clean, and accessible for pickup. * Use all equipment safely and responsibly. * Notify Motor City Tote Rental, LLC immediately if equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged. * Not use totes for hazardous materials, chemicals, flammable materials, liquids, illegal substances, or waste. * Not paint, drill, alter, remove identifying labels from, or otherwise modify rental equipment. Delivery & Pickup Motor City Tote Rental, LLC delivers empty moving totes only. Customers are responsible for packing and unpacking their belongings. All rental equipment must be emptied and ready for pickup during the scheduled pickup window. If equipment is inaccessible or an additional trip is required due to customer unavailability, additional service fees may apply. Rental Extensions Rental extensions must be requested before the scheduled pickup date and are subject to equipment availability. Additional weekly rental periods are available. Pricing varies depending on the rental package selected. Payment Payment is due prior to delivery unless otherwise agreed. The customer authorizes Motor City Tote Rental, LLC to charge the payment method on file for: * Approved rental extensions * Missing or unreturned equipment * Equipment damaged beyond normal wear and tear * Additional service fees authorized under this agreement Lost or Damaged Equipment The customer is responsible for rental equipment that is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear. Replacement charges may apply to equipment that is not returned or is returned in an unusable condition. Ownership of Rental Equipment All moving totes, Tote Taxi dollies, appliance dollies, labels, straps, and any other rental equipment provided by Motor City Tote Rental, LLC remain the sole property of Motor City Tote Rental, LLC at all times. The customer is granted only a temporary right to use the equipment during the agreed rental period. The customer shall not sell, lend, lease, sublease, pawn, alter, paint, mark, remove identifying labels from, or otherwise transfer possession of rental equipment without prior written consent from Motor City Tote Rental, LLC. Failure to return rental equipment may result in additional rental fees, replacement charges, collection costs permitted by law, and charges to the payment method on file. Liability Motor City Tote Rental, LLC is not responsible for: * Damage to items packed by the customer * Improper packing, loading, or stacking * Injuries resulting from misuse of rental equipment * Property damage resulting from improper use of rental equipment * Delays caused by weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or circumstances beyond the company’s reasonable control The customer assumes responsibility for the safe and proper use of all rental equipment while it is in the customer’s possession. Cancellation Policy Reservations canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date will receive a full refund. Reservations canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Agreement By signing below, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to the terms and conditions of this Rental Agreement.
