Configure payment and invoice rules
Choose online or offline collection, full or deposit invoicing, due dates, and delivery gating.
Choose collection behavior
Online payments require a ready Stripe connection. Offline/manual collection can still use ToteRentalSuite invoices and recorded payments. Set invoice due days, full or deposit collection, and whether payment is required before delivery.
- Connect and verify Stripe if using online payment
Do not enable online payments while the connected account is restricted.
- Choose full or deposit
Set the amount customers must pay and make the policy clear in the booking experience.
- Set invoice timing
The booking flow can create an invoice after confirmation or request full payment at booking, depending on configured behavior.
- Decide delivery gating
Require payment before delivery only when staff will consistently verify and record payment.
Two separate billing systems
Customer Payments controls money collected from rental customers. Platform Plan controls what your company pays ToteRentalSuite. Connecting or disconnecting customer Stripe does not cancel the SaaS subscription.
