Understand reservation statuses and capacity

Status meanings

• Quote — A proposal or request that does not commit inventory.
• Pending — Awaiting operator action; it holds inventory only when Publishing says to soft-hold pending requests.
• Confirmed — Approved and capacity-committing.
• Delivered — In the customer’s rental period and capacity-committing.
• Completed — Finished and capacity-releasing.
• Cancelled — Released and excluded from active operating commitments.

Choose transitions from evidence

Use logistics, scan history, returns, payment records, and customer communication to support a status change. Status is operational state, not a substitute for a communication note.
